I have to admit, after trying the newer Joyroom JR-E109, I was expecting JR-E108 to be at least similar in sound quality. I was very disappointed. The build quality and design are pretty awesome, and the bass response is much more than you can hope for, but the sound is very muddy, dark and just off-tone. The bass overwhelms everything, while the vocals and instruments sound inaccurate and blanketed.
This model is an embarrassment to the otherwise great Joyroom brand, and I'd take it off the shelves if I were them.

Cons

              - The sound is completely inaccurate. Having a powerful bass wasn't worth it.

Thanks to their special shape, these earphones are among the most comfortable earphones I've ever used.

The first thing you notice about these earphones is how massive the bass and the sub-bass are. Literally an eardrum-shaker. And, occasionally, a huge headache-inducer.

The mids and vocals are very dark. They lack detail because of the muffled highs and the overwhelming bass. Bassy instuments and male vocals sound muddy and unpleasant, while trebly instruments and female vocals sound blanketed and mushy.

The highs are completely muffled and dark, there is no brilliance, nor detail.
