Joyroom JR-E107

ø6mm Dynamic Driver

4.0/5.0

These earphones are extremely small, yet sound absolutely amazing. Even though the bass isn't that deep, it's still punchy and quick, and fills the mids with warmth. The mids and highs are some of the best I've ever experienced. They are very detailed, bright, yet warm and exciting at the same time. The main issue with these earphones is that their maximum loudness is pretty low, and an amplifier doesn't do much to fix this.

Pros

  • Simply amazing sound quality. Clear mids and crisp highs with no distortions. Smooth and fast bass response with sufficient depth.
  • As always, Joyroom provides a great build quality for these earphones as well.
  • Extremely comfortable to wear, thanks to their tiny size and light weight.
  • Unlike most Joyroom earphones, these earphones' cable wasn't stuffed inside the package, which means the cable is perfectly straight.

Cons

  • The bass response might not be enought for some listeners, as it doesn't get too deep.
  • The maximum volume is way lower compared to what you would get from earphones with larger drivers.
  • The nozzle mesh on the left earphone just fell off. This ain't surprising, considering how thin and fragile they are.

Comfort & Fit

As usual, tiny earphones fit best with large tips, so I used the included large tips and got a perfectly firm seal for hours.

Lows / Bass

Altough the bass is much shallower than Joyroom JR-E103's bass, it's very quick and impactful. It's like the sweet-spot for comfortable bass for most music listeners. For bassheads, that bass will not suffice.

Mids / Vocals

Clear and warm mids and vocals, but somewhat artificial as a result of sibilance. Great for vocal-oriented music genres and even metal music, but rather quiet compared to other earphones. More pronounced than on JR-E103.

Highs / Treble

The highs are sharp and emphasized, and tend to sound a bit piercing. Also, they're relatively quiet even when amplified. However, compared to most earphones, especially other Joyroom earphones, this treble is quite extraordinary in it's clarity and detail retrieval.
